Hi, I’m Benoit Bailyu.

Nijo is based in Antwerp where chef Benoit has set up shop, but he has his roots at the Belgian coast where he’s broadened his experience in and around the kitchen for several years. You could find him in catering businesses at a young age already, both front of house as in the kitchen, but in 2018 he felt the urge to go his own way and launched his first pop-up restaurant. Afterwards, he traded the coast for this new adventure in the Belgian diamond city, a place that allows to be the exception that proves the rule.
